All transportation permits must be obtained from State Transport Authorities by any individual or organization associateded with commercial trucking services if they transport loads beyond normal legal limits. You can get more details about the legally-permitted sizes of vehicles and sorts of transportation permits available from your local department of transportation.
Temporary operation permits have been provided since 1992. If a business only needs a permit to operate over a designated time period, Temporary Testing, Demonstration, and Temporary Operation Permits may be required. You can obtain them from all the outlets of Auto plan and any government inspection stations (weigh scales). You are enabled to perform general transportation activities for anywhere from one day to two weeks through this permit, but there are certain restrictions to use this permit for commercial activities.
