A load that exceeds the limit per-axle is considered to be over-weighted or oversized, instead of considering the overall weight of the load. Suppose your commercial vehicle transports construction machinery, pre-built homes, construction materials, or containers. It’s weight boundaries are then relied on weight limits per-axle to become eligible for this permit.

A Wide load permit is required to be received by pilot cars not exceeding 5,500 kg in gross vehicle weight, and are permitted for single commercial transportation when the length of load being transported exceeds 27.5 meter and width exceeds 3.2 meters. The pilot car will need to mount on its roof top a sign of Long Load, Wide Load or Oversize Load to warn other travelling by vehicles. Oversize vehicles with loads of 3.2 meters width or less than 3.5 meters width are exempted for this form of transportation permit if they operate during daytime, but for wider loads this permit is essential.
