Image of On the Go Transportation [Major] [Minor] and NC Oversize Permit
The heavy-duty vehicles and loads involved in commercial trucking services are generally required to, under the Act 300 of Michigan Vehicle Code (MVC) of Public Acts of 1949, perform their business as per the limitations as established by this Act. The vehicles and loads that can not be lessened in their size and can not be transported other than by road are needed to obtain permits from the reigon’s local Department of Transportation (DOT). All transportation permits must be obtained from State Transport Authorities by any individual or organization involved in commercial trucking services if they transport loads greater than normal legal limits. You can get more details about the legally-permitted sizes of vehicles and sorts of transportation permits obtainable from your local department of transportation.

Temporary operation permits have been provided since 1992. If a business only needs a permit to operate over a designated time period, Temporary Testing, Demonstration, and Temporary Operation Permits may be required. You can acquire them from all the outlets of Auto plan and any government inspection stations (weigh scales). You are enabled to perform general transportation activities for anywhere from 1 day to two weeks using this permit, but there are certain restrictions to use this permit for commercial activities.
