The vehicles and loads that can not be lowered in their size and can not be transported other than by road are demanded to obtain permits from the reigon’s local Department of Transportation (DOT). All transportation permits will need to be obtained from State Transport Authorities by any individual or organization associateded with commercial trucking services if they transport loads more than normal legal limits. You can get more information about the legally-permitted sizes of vehicles and varieties of transportation permits provided from your local department of transportation.
Temporary operation permits have been provided since 1992. If a business only needs a permit to operate over a designated period, Temporary Testing, Demonstration, and Temporary Operation Permits may be required. You can acquire them from all the outlets of Auto plan and any government inspection stations (weigh scales). You are enabled to perform general transportation activities for anywhere from one day to two weeks using this permit, but there are certain constraints to use this permit for commercial activities.
