Picture of On the Go Transportation [Major] [Minor] and OK Oversize Permit
The heavy-duty vehicles and loads connecteded with commercial trucking services are essentially required to, under the Act 300 of Michigan Vehicle Code (MVC) of Public Acts of 1949, perform their business as per the restrictions as established by this Act. The vehicles and loads that can not be reduced in their size and can not be transported other than by road are demanded to obtain permits from the reigon’s local Department of Transportation (DOT). All transportation permits will need to be obtained from State Transport Authorities by any individual or organization involved in commercial trucking services if they transport loads beyond normal legal limits. You can get more information about the legally-permitted sizes of vehicles and types of transportation permits readily available from your local department of transportation.

Temporary operation permits have been released since 1992. If a business only needs a permit to operate over a designated time period, Temporary Testing, Demonstration, and Temporary Operation Permits may be required. You can secure them from all the outlets of Auto plan and any government inspection stations (weigh scales). You are allowed to perform general transportation activities for anywhere from one day to two weeks using this permit, but there are certain stipulations to use this permit for commercial activities.

Suppose your commercial vehicle transports construction machinery, pre-built homes, construction materials, or containers. It’s weight restricts are then depended weight limits per-axle to become eligible for this permit.
