Washington Oversize Load Permit

Image of On the Go Transportation [Major] [Minor] and Trucking Permit
The heavy-duty vehicles and loads connecteded with commercial trucking services are essentially required to, under the Act 300 of Michigan Vehicle Code (MVC) of Public Acts of 1949, execute their business as per the constraints as established by this Act. The vehicles and loads that can not be reduced in their size and can not be transported other than by road are needed to obtain permits from the reigon’s local Department of Transportation (DOT). All transportation permits should be obtained from State Transport Authorities by any individual or organization involved in commercial trucking services if they transport loads greater than normal legal limits. You can get more information about the legally-permitted sizes of vehicles and sorts of transportation permits readily available from your local department of transportation.

Temporary operation permits have been circulated since 1992. If a business only needs a permit to operate over a designated period, Temporary Testing, Demonstration, and Temporary Operation Permits may be required. You can acquire them from all the outlets of Auto plan and any government inspection stations (weigh scales). You are permitted to perform general transportation projects for anywhere from one day to two weeks through this permit, but there are certain regulations to use this permit for commercial activities.

A load that exceeds the limit per-axle is considered as over-weighted or oversized, rather than considering the overall weight of the load. Suppose your commercial vehicle transports construction machinery, pre-built homes, construction materials, or containers. It’s weight restricts are then depended weight limits per-axle to become eligible for this permit.
