A load that goes beyond the limit per-axle is considered to be over-weighted or oversized, rather than considering the overall weight of the load. Suppose your commercial vehicle transports construction machinery, pre-built homes, construction materials, or containers. It’s weight boundaries are then relied on weight limits per-axle to become eligible for this permit.

A Wide load permit is required to be obtained by pilot cars not exceeding 5,500 kg in gross vehicle weight, and are authorized for single commercial transportation when the length of load being transported exceeds 27.5 meter and width exceeds 3.2 meters. The pilot car will need to mount on its roof top a sign of Long Load, Wide Load or Oversize Load to warn other travelling by vehicles. Oversize vehicles with loads of 3.2 meters width or below 3.5 meters width are exempted for this kind of transportation permit if they operate during daylight, but for wider loads this permit is involuntary.
